  Krips Foundation - Activities

Shree Bhivaji Murlidhar Gaikward age 29 residing at Shihagad Road ,122 Mahatma Jyotiroa Phule, Pune.came to Krips Foundation office in the month of August 2009. He was disabled by his left leg & asked for support of 2 crutches. We enquired about him in detail and found that he had studied upto STD 9th .He was married and his Wife Reshma has polio in both legs . She works at home by crawling .

On 19th August we gave him apair of crutches. Now he could stand & walk properly. Krips Foundation rehibilated him to earn daily income by giving him cash amount . Now he sells flowers , garlands and incense which his wife Reshma prepares at home which he sells at near by signals. By this activity he earns approximate Rs.100/- per day and support his family.

It is our aim that under privileged & disabled should be on their own and earn decent livelihood to support their family.This was achived by kind & generous support from our well wishers . We appeal you to come forward & contribute to our foundation so that more disable can be rehabilitated.

Shree Bapu Namdev Kamble age 30 residing at 133, Near Mauli Shirvalkar, Ambil Odha, Dandekar Bridge, Pune came to Krip’s Foundation’s office in the month of Feb 2009 along with his wife Sangita and three years daughter Asha. He was disabled came walking on crutches and asked for support for the artificial leg. Secretary Mr. Ishwar Kripalani asked him in the details during that he confessed that he had habit of alcohol, consuming of tobacco and  some time he used to beat his wife also. Krip’s foundation counseled him for two months and he was told that if he gets rid of these drawbacks Krip’s foundation will support him. 

We observed him for couple of months and noticed that he was improving his behavior. In the first week of May Krip’s foundation got him a artificial leg along with paw and waist belt.

 

Now he could stand and walk independently. He dose not use crutches. Krip’s foundation rehabilitated him to earn some daily income. Now he sells flowers and garlands which his wife Sangita helps him to make and sells them to the people. By this activity he earns Rs. 150 per day and now he is self dependant. It is the our aim that under privileged and disabled should be on their own and earn a decent livelihood and support the family. 

 

This was achieved by kind and generous support from our well wishers and donors. We appeal you to come forward and contribute with your mite so that one more disable can be rehabilitated.

A Success Story 

Laxman Namdev Rahulwar born at Nandurbar age 25 yrs. was unemployed blind youth and totally depending on others. He has taken education upto 12th std. in brail. He had approached Poona Blind Men’s association where he got training of cane chair making, office file making etc. He is married and having a wife suffering from malnutrition.

On seeing the press note of Krips Foundation in news paper he came to our office for post operational treatment. Drs. advised him to take various eye drops and ointments daily. there are chances that he may regain the lost eye sight. Krip’s Foundation whose slogan is ‘A Helping Hand’ decided to take care of his treatment. Krip’s Foundation provided him eye drops and ointments costing Rs. 300 per week it was religiously followed and we noticed that his eye sight was recovering. After couple months he came to office without the help of the white stick. He told that he can see now. He said that he has seen the light first time in the life and was very happy to celebrate Dipawali. It gave a great joy to the trustees of the Krip’s Foundation.

With the help of our contacts we got him a job at “Sanskar Pratisthan” a residential complex of mentally retired children. Laxman is working as a care taker at “Sanskar Pratisthan” He is getting salary, meals, and shelter. “Sanskar Pratisthan” secretary Shri Ulhas Kenjale was satisfied with his work. He asked Laxman to bring his wife Asha for the job at the same premises as a cook. He went to his villege and came back with his wife. Both of them are working in the same organization. Now Asha who was suffering from malnutrition has gained the health and the couple is living happily.

He is going to be operated for another eye. Krip’s Foundation could achive this with the generous support of the society, donors, well wisher. Krip’s Foundation will continues to do such type of work in future any one can visit “Sanskar Pratisthan” Sutarwadi at Post Ambadwet, Dist Mulashi, Pune any time any day .

The cost of his treatment was borne by Shri Perumal Bachani a renowned Sindhi business man residing at Tulsidas Apt, Opp. Nehru Memorial Hall, Pune.

Free Check up Camp on 10th May 2008 at Dound

Krips Foundation Pune and Narayan Seva Sansthan Udaypur, Rajsthan has jointly organized a check up camp on 10th May 2008 at Tal. Dound, Dist Pune. Approximately 60 disabled persons attended the camp. During the programme 30 Tricycles 20 Wheel Chairs and 10 Crutches were distributed. Mrs. Ranjana Kul, MLA of Dound was the chief guest. The function was presided by Shree Indrajeet Jagdale President, of Dound City and Shree Premsukh Kataria Chairman, of Dound Urban Bank, attend the programme. Number of members of Panchayat Samittee, doctors, Business people and social workers were also present. The programme was organized by shree Gurumukh Narang President, Navyug Shikshan Sanstha, Dound. Shree Ishwar Kripalani Secretary of Krips Foundation explained the importance of such activity in rural area. Where number of needy and deserving disable persons can be benefited. Shri. Mukesh Sharma from Narayan Seva Sansthan was also present.
